About Trip

14 Days Annapurna Circuit Trekking is also known as Thorong La pass trekking; it is one of the most popular trekking route in Nepal. This trekking route was 3 weeks long trekking itinerary some time ago but now with the road connection to Manang from Besishahar is shortening the trekking days. Somehow, our 14 days Annapurna circuit trekking starts at Syange which is 2 camp after Besishahar. We directly drive and drop off at Syange then continue trek to Dharapani, Chame, Manang, Thorong phedi, Thorong La Pass and trek down to Muktinath and Jomsom. From Jomsom we fly to Pokhara and drive to Kathmandu.

Though some people directly drive to Chame or Manang and trek from there but the altituide sickness, and the rough road riding is not beautiful. Hence we carve our itinerary to start the trek at Syange and trekking gradually pass over Manang and  Thorong La pass. While starting trekking at Syange confronts the road off and on but we follow the original trekking route hence it is not disturbing by vehicles on the road. And also driving above Syange is not possible in summer and early autumn due to slippery and bad road condition. We suggest our clients to drive up to the safe road (Syange) not to the danger and risky road to Chame or Manang. Since our itinerary follows the classic Annapurna Circuit trail you can enjoy the local flora and fauna of Annapurna Conservation area and encounter local’s life style and customs. While following our 14 days Annapurna circuit itinerary, start walking at 1100m and it ascends gradually  to Thorong phedi 4450 m and until you arrive Thorong phedi you will be well acclimatized to go Thorong la pass of 5416m. Thorong phedi is the last camp before going over the pass of Thorongla. Though some people stay at High Camp of Thorongla 1 hr further from Thorong phedi many other stay at Thorong phedi, considering the fact of better sleep at lower altitude. Which is very important for high altitude walking. Along the trekking you will enjoy the magnificient view of Annpurna 3, Annapurna range, Daulagiri and many other beautiful mountains.

Nature Adventure treakking and expedition has been organizing  Annapurna circuit trek since long time, our friendly field staff will take good care of our each clients.Specially about the altitude sickness.
