Mt. Makalu (8,463 m.) is one another famous peaks for expedition in Nepal. It is the fifth highest mountains in the world, situated between Everest and Kanchanjunga at Nepali-Tibetan border. According to government records, Mt. Makalu was first climbed by the French in 1955. Mt. Makalu expedition trip has been popular recently days primarily for its scenic views of a range of mountains, unique rocky hills, beautiful settlements, lush jungle full of endangered birds and animals, flora and fauna and superb scenes of a great Himalayas located in Mt. Everest region.

Mt. Makalu trip begins with a short flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar and the the trail continued through Chichila, Num, Yak Kharka and finally at Makalu base camp and after making an excursion around, you will return back along the same route and finally to Kathmandu.
