Simikot to, Mt.Kailash and Mansrover Lake trekking is one another popular route trekking to Tibet whereby you make encircle starting your trip from western part of the Country, Simikot, the hidden valley of Humla district and then you end trekking at the northern part at Khasa, Nepal-Tibet border. First it is a source of four major rivers—Karnali, Indus, Sutlej and Brahmaputra. Similalry, it is also regarded to be he holy mountains, therefore, why various religious groups mainly Buddhists, Hindus, Jain and Bon make it to Mt. Kailash and at the same time, the religious gropus make it to Kailash Mansarovar lake in order to worship and flood their sins. Different religious group believe that peak is the abode of the god and the Kailash Mansarover Lake as a sacred lake and if any of them take a bath in this lake, the water cleanse one’s sins. Thus thousands of devotees make it to this lake for having bath and clean their sins every year.

During the trekking, you will have an opportunity to pass various pass and superb landscapes such as Dharapuri, Kerni, Yalbang Gumpa, Tumkot, Thado Dhuga and then you cross the Nara La pass (4,450 m) and trek down to Hilsa, Nepal-Tibet border and then have trek up to Sher and then Purang and subsequently drive up to Mansarovar Lake making an excursion around, you will visit to Darchen, Derapuk, Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, similarly you will make a trip to Darchen, Paryang, Saga, Lhatse, Shigatse and finally get back to Lhasa, where you will visit to the ancient monastery, historical and religious sites, explore around and finally you will fly back to Kathmandu or return back by road along the friendship highway via Khasa, Nepal-Tibet border and subsequently return back to Kathmandu by road.
