Bhairav Kunda Trekking is located at Nepal-Tibet border. The term Kunda stands for Lake while the Bhairav is another name of Hindu Lord Shiva. Thus Lake is said to have created by Bhairav in order to quench his thrust while he was traveling along the mountain range. This sacred lake is situated next to the Panch Pokhari or Nepali name for five-lakes located in Dolakha district.

while having trekking you will not be able to travel and explore the glacial lakes Bhairav Kunda and Panch Pokhari (five-lakes) but also explore the scenic views of mountains located in Rolwaling range namely of Jugal Himal, Gaurishankar, including Mt. Everest, pass through many snowy trail, glacier, You can extend your trekking to rafting in Bhotekoshi river, explore the cultural blend of various ethnic groups residing along the route. All these features have made the trail to be one of the adventure and the destination to be one of the most loved trekking trails.
Bhairav Kund Trekking begins with a short drive from Kathmandu to Jalbire and then continue the trail along the beautiful settlements of various ethnic groups where you will explore the diverse ethnic groups namely of Newar, Tamang, Sherpa among others, along the trails you will have excellent views of mountains including of Jugal Himal, Gauri Shankar, rolwaling Himalayan range and finally reach and explore around Bhairav Kunda and finally having excursion all around you will return back to along the Bhotekoshi route, where you also can have rafting and finally return back to Kathmandu.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01:Upon your arrival in Kathmandu Nature Adventure Trekking & Expedition will greet you at the airport & transfer to Hotel.

Day 02:Half day Sightseeing in Katmandu city with cultural tour guide. Hotel

Day 03:Drive Kathmandu to Jalbire (990m.) 5 hrs.Camp

Day 04:Trek to Chanaute (1340m.) 4/5 hrs.Camp

Day 05:Trek to Khani Gaun (2000m.) 5/6 hrs.Camp

Day 06:Rest day, visit around cultural village. Camp

Day 07:Trek to Forest camp (3100m.) 6/7 hrs.Camp

Day 08:Trek to Pati (3700m.) 5/6 hrs.Camp

Day 09:Trek to Bhairab Kunda (4240m.) 3/4hrs.Camp

Day 10:Trek to Sherpa Gaun (2500m.) 6/7 hrs.Camp

Day 11:Trek to Larcha (1600m.) Camp

Day 12:Drive back to Kathmandu. 5/6 hrs. Camp

Day 13:Extra day in Kathmandu. Hotel

Day 14:Trip end. Final departure transfer to airport.
